Born and bred in Tennessee, Ronald Kelly has been an author of Southern-fried horror fiction for nearly 35 years, with fifteen novels, twelve short story collections, and a Grammy-nominated audio collection to his credit. Influenced by such writers as Stephen King, Robert McCammon, Joe R. Lansdale, and Manly Wade Wellman, Kelly sets his tales of rural darkness in the hills and hollows of his native state and other locales of the American South. His published works include Fear, Undertaker’s Moon, Blood Kin, Hell Hollow, Hindsight, The Buzzard Zone, After the Burn, Midnight Grinding & Other Twilight Terrors, The Essential Sick Stuff, The Halloween Store and Other Tales of All Hallows’ Eve, Season’s Creepings: Tales of Holiday Horror, and Irish Gothic: Tales of Celtic Horror. He lives in a backwoods hollow in Brush Creek, Tennessee with his wife and young’uns, and a psychopathic Jack Russell Terrier named Toby.
