Hatching by Ash Ericmore
It’s an urban legend.
Spiders birthing in the human ear. Tiny babies crawling from the most harmless of crevices. The sound, first, of course. The pitter patter of tiny feet. Middle of the night. It’s just the starch in the washing powder. The pillow moving. Not something inside you. Something crawling out of you. Something …
… some … things.
Consider this a trigger warning for … well … I’m sure you can imagine.

Pure hysteria!
I suffer from arachnophobia, some of the "freak out" passages in this one were VERY relatable. This one took a psychological twist that I wasn't expecting, delectably disturbing.

Stupid spiders!
Jo does not want to be camping let alone hearing gross ass stories about spider pregnancies. But when campfire tales become a possible real life nightmare, she should fear more than just the creepy crawlies. I itched the whole way through this one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5/5.

Creeping and crawling
This bloody book, gave me not only trust issues but more reasons to avoid camping. If you have arachnophobia this is NOT the short story for you. As always Ash does a great job at misdirection for the first chapter, then leads into the real story with Jo. One of those moments where you remember a horror movie that sticks so hard it gives you the worst nightmares. Gruesome and detailed this story will make your skin crawl off your body!

Wow!
Shocking and terrifying this story will amp up your fear of spiders. The best part is when you realize what's really happening you're left saying Oh no no no! I absolutely loved this!
