Angelique Jordana paints a compelling picture. Dani is a well-rounded story of trauma, love, and feeding the hunger that only serial killing can satiate. Right from the beginning, I was invested in Dani; who she was and why she did what she did. The memories of her traumatic past were haunting and real and not easy to shake. Once she meets Lark, I was both happy for Dani and apprehensive of what would happen next. I can see why this book has so much love. I think it’s great queer horror and a fantastic story. If you haven’t read it, you should.

I couldn't put this book down. It starts off running and doesn't stop until the last word. The main character Dani is someone I'd like to hang out with even though she's a serial killer. If you don't fall in love with her then there's something wrong with you.
