Sick and Twisted
Out of all the Southern Discomfort issues, this one is certainly the most twisted. And I loved it! Kincaid takes the "husband seeks revenge on wife's lover" and absolutely turns it on its head and gives his readers something original. This story isn't just all gore, though there is plenty of it. There are some moral, religious, and philosophical themes in play that are reminiscent of Saw (especially with the name Kramer, though what each one is after differs). And boy oh boy, there is a scene in this story that is sure to make every female cringe! Highly recommend!
