United StatesBurying Point Is A Must-Read!
Anyone who has read Cavignano knows the careful way he balances horror with mystery/police procedurals. Think Se7en, and you'll get the idea. With Cavignano, we have the literary equivalent. With The Burying Point, the author brings us another case for Ray Hanley to solve, and this time, Cavignano adds an irresistible occult angle. This is a novel for readers who wish season 1 and 4 of True Detective leaned more into the supernatural, and Cavignano manages this without sacrificing the mystery elements. In the process, he builds up to a wild grand guignol conclusion that will leave you gasping. It's time to read Cavignano if you're not already!
