Bowery by Matthew Vaughn is by far his most insane, craziest, and despicable story I’ve read by him. Some of the most vile things go on at the Bowery. Oh, I’ve pique your interest? Good, now go get the book. You will either thank me or hate me later on for doing so. Everyone should check it out, if you’re brave enough to enter the Bowery doors. The amount of debauchery within this story is astounding. It’s crazy as hell and all sorts of fucked up. I loved every minute of it. It’s insanity at its finest.

"Bowery" by Matthew Vaughn Sandra, who is currently pregnant and expecting a baby boy, awakens to find herself in an incredibly strange place, isolated from the world, and treated like cattle. Told to moo, to walk on all fours, and milked relentlessly, Sandra's survival hangs in the balance as she questions if she'll ever be able to escape this farm from hell or if she's meant to spend the rest of her life as a human cow. This story was much more extreme than I expected it to be. I felt a lot of feelings while reading this, but the most prominent feeling was disgust. I was disgusted that men exist in the world that are capable of these things. Disgusted that these women were ripped away from their babies to be treated as nothing more than cattle. And disgusted that there was no true happy ending for Sandra or for her savior, Shitheel. This one really digs deep at my psyche, and it has stayed with me long since closing its pages. I actually wouldn't mind a sequel to this one either, � HINT HINT �. I feel as if Sandra has a lot more story to tell and many many more things to say.

So this is not an easy read, from the get-go you have a heavily pregnant Sandra. On a table being milked, yes you heard me correctly. Milked, tortured, and sexually attacked by two sadistic farmers. No idea how she got there, no idea why they are doing this to her. But we follow this horrorshow of a story by Matthew that is both gripping and gut-wrenchingly disgusting. I have to admit even with a strong stomach this was a bloody hard read. As we feel Sandra's anxiety and fear for her unborn baby. You are rutting for her to keep fighting and to escape this hellish nightmare. Which actually reminds me of a film called the farm, because there are other women there in captivity. Undergoing the same horrific torment, treated like Cows to the point that some have become void of emotion. Accepting that they will live and die as nothing but livestock and it is heartbreaking, to see these women so broken. Just when you think it cannot get any worse, it does for Sandra when her water finally breaks. Now all that is keeping her going is the thought of seeing her baby. This messed up cult of men however has other plans for Sandra after she befriends a young farmer and makes a break for it. This yanks at the heartstrings and just sucks you into Sandra's desperation and depression. This short yet horrible story will keep shocking you right to the bitter end.

I have loved everything I've ever read by Matt, but this has just leapt to the top of my Matt Vaughn list! Extreme with a capital E, Fucked up with a capital F, Insane with a capital I, and just ASTOUNDING (ALL CAPS!) Extreme horror lovers rejoice (and read this now!) George sets out for another working day on the farm, a day like any other….for him anyway! His main task is to look after the new heifer, to break her in and to milk her. But this is a heifer unlike any other…. Sandra finds herself in an horrific nightmare of a situation. Even your worst nightmares couldn't prepare you for it! Although, she is at least being looked after while she's where she is, being fed and watered regularly, but just what is that she is being fed? She's also pregnant and this shows the strength that women gain to protect their babies, by any means necessary and what they will do to hang onto their precious little souls. I felt real empathy and heartache for Sandra! Shitheel is one of the farmers, but he's also being abused in a different way, he's kind of used to it, but is getting kind of fed up with it now…. This story starts off hugely messed up and then proceeds to outdo itself with every chapter! Really detailed descriptions, down to the tiniest aspect, make this an experience that's so realistic and vivid you could almost be there! All your senses are triggered in this one, all of them, even ones you didn't know you had! There was a big WOAH!! moment, where my jaw hit the floor, and I NO'd out loud! I was not expecting it to go there…. This is one mightily fucked up story, but its also got heart, it was actually quite a mooving story too, in places. The insane depravity reminded me a lot of Ed Lee! I couldn't put this book down, this was a one sitting white knuckle ride for me, and I LOVED IT!!!!

This story is disgusting and disturbing af. Probably the sickest shit I have read from Vaughn yet. Legit almost made me puke a few times. If you like brutal, look no further.
