This is a bit different from Peter’s normal stuff as it's based on a true story, but it is nonetheless as brilliant and as darkly humorous as ever! A young boy gets to know his babysitter rather intimately, at first he's shocked, but pleasantly surprised, and he starts to think of nothing else. Then things start to get weird and he starts to play along and enjoy himself, he becomes manipulative and cunning, and then the tables get turned! The story builds hilariously and bizarrely to its completely bonkers conclusion……and then you read the Authors Note, and you are brought back down to earth! I did feel a little bit guilty for laughing so hard at the main story after reading it! But it is a really funny, weird and bizarre TRUE story, and I really enjoyed it! I love that Peter had the balls to share this with us and allow us to laugh at his expense! You truly are a legend Mr Caffrey, a trumpet wielding, cloak wearing LEGEND!!

Five massive stars because this had my howling in laughter. All I see is a little Peter in a cloak and hat screaming cock-a-doodle-doo while a voodoo priest tries to sacrifice a rooster. The fact that this really happened is crazy. Reading the authors note at the end is a must simply because it's just a funny as the story.
