Till Death Do Us Part?

So wow, I think she may be on my top favourite list. This was creative, horrifying, emotional and had some brilliantly timed humour. The scary part is now there is the option of becoming a bath bomb and a tree bulb. This seems like an option that could happen in the future. This was an addictive read from the get go, instantly sucking you with the very heartbreaking scene at the beginning of David's passing. The bizarre adventure starts when the box shows up at the door screaming condolences like a birthday surprise. I mean, can you imagine finding out the person you love the most wants you to deal with the death. I mean DEAL as in take out their organs to donate and bloody well cremating them at home?! I would be horrified unless of course, you both share a dark sense of humour. But I was grateful David didn't want something way creepier, like to be stuffed and mounted. Oh God taxidermy your own family member is going to be next. Anyway I bet poor Stella won't be able to think about Lasagna without associating it with the day she removed her husband's bits. Honestly, Michelle did a cracking job and kept the reader engaged and made this enjoyable read. It also shows the different stages of grief in a very unique setting, the anger, the pain, the wishing for them to get up. Every heartbreaking moment, beautifully written and represented in this piece. This is a short 55 piece with a great concept and even better main character. She managed to squeeze the love and devotion Stella shared for David, and put across how deep and profound their relationship is. This is a truly an imaginative and impressive piece of writing that deserves more than five stars!
