Gory is back! One thing that hasn’t changed is that he is still running from iASK. They want to continue harvesting his organs and holding him prisoner. Gory doesn’t want to go back to that life, so he chooses to stay on the run and find a job. Even as a zombie, he needs income, right? His choice… becoming a porn star. Because of this he meets Angelique, and they seem to make a real connection. Gory confides in her about iASK and Velma. Instead of enjoying their new relationship, they both will be hiding and running from Velma and her people. Angelique reveals what she really is and offers Gory the key to defeating Velma. I was happy to see another Emerge short about Gory. I couldn’t wait to see what he would get into this time. Between his new job and taking on Velma and her crew, there is lots of action in such a short story. If you’re looking for a different take on a zombie story, check this one out.
