Brayden and his girlfriend, Kylee, decide to move into the cabin that he inherited from his recently deceased aunt. However, the couple soon discovers that pure evil lives in this house. Brayden’s sleep paralysis now seems too realistic and the spirits become torturous. As things worsen, they find themselves asking the same questions: what menacing force lives within the walls of this cabin, and what does Brayden’s aunt have to do with it?

The Howling Of The Dead

Stephanie Jensen lays down the surprise novel of 2021. Having never read her work I was completely unprepared for her incredible writing style. Fast paced, detailed and well though out. Two young lovers decide to leave thier lives in Denver behind to start over in a recently inherited mountain cabin in Utah. The seclusion offers Brayden an opportunity to mourn the break up of his band, and reconnect with his music. Kaylee decides its time to chase her dream of breeding horses. Things couldn't be going better for them until Aunt Jackie, the visions, the human eyes.... This haunted house story rivals those of Darcey Coates. Jensen mashes the gas pedal in chapter one, and doesn't let up until the final page. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
