The Bleed Patch by Simon McHardy
It’s Halloween, and four old friends, accompanied by their trusty sidekick, Rogue, a flatulent cattle dog, head out to Maggie’s pumpkin patch to steal one of her prize-winning pumpkins.
Maggie wants first prize, but things have got a little out of hand. Inside the old farmhouse, madness is blooming. In the paddock, the pumpkins are growing fat. They’re getting more than fertiliser. The gang discovers that some things are best left to grow.
The Bleed Patch is dark Australian horror with a deadpan edge. Rural weirdness, grotesque violence, and the occasional moment of grim absurdity.
