I Eat Babies (Dark Drabbles Vol. 1.5) by Gerhard Jason Geick
GERHARD JASON GEICK PRESENTS: I EAT BABIES
Dark Drabbles Volume 1.5
A Drabble is a short work of writing of precisely one hundred words in length.
“I think Gerhard has a great voice and I love his writing style.”
-Carver Pike, author of Grad Night, Scalp, and the Diablo Snuff Series
The purpose of the Drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.
“The author's imagination is wild and weird and leaves no stones (or bodily functions) unturned.”
-Goodreads reviewer, Janie C
WARNING: CONTENT MAY OFFEND AND/OR SEND YOU CRYING TO YOUR MOMMY.
“I really enjoy Gerhard’s writing style. It’s psychological, which is really fun to dig apart and dissect.”
-Brandy Carroll is one half of the Horror Review Dream Team responsible for Horror Nerds and Book Nerd’s Book Reviews
“Gerhard is a very talented author, and it was a fantastic experience to read this book of Drabbles.”
-Goodreads reviewer, Negan88 (IN A DARK PLACE WITH NOTHING BUT A DRABBLE FOR A SHIELD)
“Gerhard can really write. With his mastery of imagery, and unexpected plot twists, I’m terrified at what he will dream up next. I wouldn't miss it for the world though.”
-Simon McHardy, Author of Gob & Nob, Mother Maggot
“I Look forward to more from Gerhard Jason Geick.”

This is super short, and free for G-d's sake! Pick it up and prepare to laugh and retch!
This is a well written collection of short, short, well, drabbles. The author does a great job with such a little amount of words, and the challenge was met in this work of fiction. I look forward to purchasing more, and look forward to this author's future. Drabbles are equivalent to a low calorie snack for the avid reader, short glimpses of characters that could spin off into larger works in the author's future. Great READ!
A wide variety of drabbles, each one better then the last. Awesome!
I've never read any drabbles before, and I must say I was really impressed and entertained! Gerhard crafted these pieces as an excellent preview for his upcoming book coming out September 7th, and I personally can't wait for it. I became a fan of hyper-short stories after discovering Richard Christian Matheson ("Red" is a masterpiece), but this takes the difficulty and skill up a notch. Well done!
I Eat Babies is a fantastic prerequisite to Gerhard’s release of In A Dark Place on the Godless.com platform. It is a wonderful way to experience what a Drabble is, if it is for you or not, and gives a feel of what is to come in In A Dark Place. Gerhard doesn’t hold back in I Eat Babies. He hits on politics, religion, and many of the no no’s most people try to avoid. It was a very gutsy move, but I think that the ongoing story throughout plays well. All in all, I give I Eat Babies five stars out of five stars. Drabbles are an art form in and of themselves. They are not as easy as one might think, and that is commendable. Not to mention Gerhard writes them so well, and he definitely scores points for not being afraid to voice his opinions and stance. There are also many of the Drabbles that can be left up to reader interpretation, and I really love that. This is also a factor that appears in In A Dark Place. Check this out now, and by the way it’s free!
