gCod by Sandra Bassett

Only left in stock

Witness the brutal night a Buddhist Monk performs the sacred ritual of gCod or 'the cutting practice'. Monk Aldo gives his body and mind over to the most vilest of demons with the ultimate sacrifice being his ego. What could go wrong? He collects the human body parts required for the ritual in the most compassionate of ways. He sets free their Buddha Nature to seek higher realms of existence. In taking the tradition to its most logical conclusions, he manifests a darkness that the temple is wholly unprepared for.

Aldo...driven with demons

First of all, I am not one to give away any spoilers. I feel every reader should truly enjoy the book for themselves, but with that said, I can tell you how I felt about this book by the author. I usually do not ready books that will scare the crap out of me, yep, this one had me bit my nails, grab my blanket , but I could not put it down. Aldo, our young monk, is on a journey. Leaving his home behind to understand the true teaching and training of gCod. The Lama wants him to understand about (if I can say this all correctly teaching of gCod, Buddhism, and Shamanic understandings).. which he is confused about... By on his journey one will read he goes on a killing spree... and some sexual acts you would think a monk would do... oh... readers.. let the fun begin... The demons definitely are restless! The best quote is "we grow tomatoes, cabbage and carrots" Hands down a book I highly recommend others reading.. and have encouraged others already!!!
