I love Kipp's short stories, Ive read several now, he can cram a massive amount of action, blood, gore and horror into such a small space, and every single one has been a great read! In Bloody Peckers we are invited to a hedonistic beach party with Eugene, his deformed penis, his wife and some of his more open-minded friends. Also at this party are a couple of reporters intent on a good story, and, the arrival of a strange, moving black cloud........ which brings with it utter horror and carnage! With the title of this story and the way it starts off, you'd think it can only go one way, it doesnt......I was taken by surprise! A very enjoyable and horrific read!
