Between the Devil and Madness (Book One - Rosebud) by Todd Love

This book sucks you in from the start. I read it so fast I'm almost mad I've finished it. I need to know how this story ends. Come on book two!

This is a great start to a series I’m extra excited about! Eight year old Rose is abducted in broad daylight and hidden away for months, sitting alone in her dark quarters with only a stuffed rabbit as company. What she doesn’t know is that she’s more special than she could ever begin to understand. The reveal towards the end caught me by surprise. I’m a sucker for stories of good versus evil, and Between the Devil and Madness takes that trope and makes it feel like something new. I can’t wait to see where this all goes!

I Was Extremely Honoured To Be Asked To Beta Read Todd Love Latest Book....And I'm Allowed To Leave My Review Now! This was different from Todd's previous work, but only in that it was less brutal! Other than that, it was as well written, fast paced, descriptive, tense and horrific as I have come to expect and love from his work. There was an impressive build up throughout, with an awesome opening chapter, and the story was left on a brilliant "I WANT MORE AND I WANT IT NOW" type cliffhanger! With great characters too, this is gonna be one helluva ride!!!! 5 Long Eared Bunnies From Me
