Zoë just wants to go home after a hard week of work. Netflix, pyjamas, and junk food beckon. The prospect of catching the last bus is always daunting but seven days of relaxation and revision seem like a worthy prize at the end of another journey of drunken idiots, weed clouds and loud unwanted music. But there's someone special on board, what starts as an act of human kindness descends into a madness more viscous and evil than she could ever imagine.

Deep, Dark, and Horrifying

Matthew Cash has never been one to shy away from graphic horror in his stories, and Keida-In-The-Flames is no exception. This novella is an extreme horror tale involving the supernatural, the occult, and the worst horrors of humanity. But there is more to Keida-In-The-Flames than that. This is a statement about people, society, and how we view those things we don’t understand, both in each other and in the universe around us. Cash introduces characters who are all too real and situations that are all too common, then adds an element of the unimaginable. The story is fast paced an engaging, but also horrifying and tragic in turns. There is a pronounced depth in addition to the terror and gore, a delicate balance that will leave your mind cringing for many reasons.
