Ive been having serious Matt Vaughn withdrawals as I wait for Bowery II to be released in its entirety, so when this landed in my inbox, to say I was extremely excited would be an understatement! I jumped in as soon as I finished my then current read and read it in one sitting! Its a short, sharp, shocking, brutally brilliant and blood drenched smack in the face that I still think about nearly 3 weeks later, and especially on entering an elevator…… I really enjoyed how this was written, the visuals the narrative created made it feel very real and completely immersive. You feel every bit of tension and fear building along with the characters. Dave69 is filming his vacation for his tik tok fans, its all fun, games and flirting, until the elevator breaks down. Then it takes a very unexpected yet incredible twist, that will leave you shocked and sick to the stomach! It goes full brutal very quickly, and is deeply disturbing and claustrophobic. A kind of Blair Witch, but in the confines of an elevator….or should that be, HELLevator?! Gruesome, gory, genius! Another triumph from Matthew! I highly recommend!

Christmas takes a dark and twisted turn for Dave69, but with Matthew at the helm is there any surprise. As one by one everyone around Dave69 met a very horrifying end, every moment detailed for us. As we sit on the other side of his tik tok live watching the horrors unfold. Just like most influences and social media addicts in society, something terrible is happening QUICK RECORD THE WHOLE THING! Don't actually bother finding a way to escape the horrific, neausiating situation. Oh no let's capture it for all of my followers, in this eye opening horror you won't want to stop reading. Or in this case you have no choice but to sit and watch everything play out. Brilliantly fast paced horror by Matthew!
