Bruce Fontenot is a man who sits alone with his thoughts...and those thoughts won't let him breathe. Day in and day out, he takes his seat in his toll booth at Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, Louisiana. Day in and day out, he can't escape his past and the damage that's been done. The years of abuse, addiction, and the demons that came from them, have drained his soul of any hope. Then, one early morning before the sun rises, Bruce decides to try and live again. Held captive by the voices in his head, Bruce gives in to their desires, believing that what they tell him will bring true freedom. Yet this freedom has deadly consequences.
