The Class Reunion by Sean McDonough reads like an 80s slasher movie set in modern day with modern characters. It is fun and entertaining and gruesome!
I enjoyed McDonough’s characters immensely. They are a colorful lot, realistically different from one another, unique and yet familiar in an “I know someone like that” kind of way. The character interactions create a perfect balance to the dark and gruesome graphic horror of the storyline and action scenes.
The insight into the story’s villain adds to the buildup and flow of the story. It creates intrigue to go with the suspense, and a supernatural element to go with the gore—the classic recipe of good slasher flicks.
The Class Reunion by Sean McDonoughThe Class Reunion is full of action, tension, great characters, and gory violence. It’s a decadent snack for extreme horror fans and slasher fans alike. And as he has done before, McDonough finishes the story with a completely unforeseen, unpredictable, mind-blowing ending.
Another shelf-worthy, 5-Star horror gem from Sean McDonough.
