Would you pay to watch babies fight to the death?

Only the wealthy and privileged have the kind of money that can pay for such vile entertainment. The first rule of Baby Fights is there are no rules. Babies can't follow rules. But with a certain persuasion they turn into rabid little monsters, and oh what a spectacle it is to see.

Two babies enter the ring. Only one comes out alive. The only rule of Baby Fights is that one must die. Always.

Would you pay to watch babies kill each other in the ring? Oh, you don't have that kind of money? Then open this book and read about it.

Baby Fights

Holy smokes. What an insane ride. The title of the book explains the premise of the book but not the whole story. Am I allowed to recommend this? Does it make me a bad person?

I Wouldn’t Fuck With These Infants

This book was messed up in all the right ways. Robert Essig never disappoints. You don’t wanna play got Your nose with these babies!

You’ve never met babies like this before…

“It all started with cockfights. No, not what you’re thinking, not with roosters.” This may be one of my favorite opening lines ever… From there, the “seed for Baby Fights been sowed” for Ducky… “Baby Fights were not for just any person, but the person who had everything and wanted something more, something they couldn’t get elsewhere. ” Madison found her purpose in motherhood with Hunter; until Ryan and Chance decided that Ducky needed to enlist her and Hunter into the games. Add a little pop-art; a lot of money; a micro-dose of angel dust and a lot of brutally extracted blood … that’s just scratching the gory surface of the nasty little tale. This is one that I just kept going, “OMG, I love this and wtf is wrong with me, because OMG, I love this!”. Essig somehow manages to craft a deeply engaging and addictive storyline , replete with characters you love and some that you just love to hate, about a subject matter that should make you run for the proverbial hills. And the ending, that ending … the most perfect ending. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. “Warning This book is every bit as fucked up as the title suggests. You have been warned. For the sickos out there, proceed and enjoy.” I can’t put it any better than that. Enjoy responsibly.

More Emotional Than One Would Expect

Well this starts off with something worse and possibly weirder than babies fighting but then is actually a little sad and much deeper than I expected. It is still depraved and quite visceral at times but much more heart than I was anticipating. An unusual idea executed in a completely unexpected way. Another hit for the master of weird.
