I've read a few of Rob's stories now and let me tell you, he does great body horror! Really wild, crazy, fucked up, sick, twisted, fluid filled and gory, body horror! Buckets of blood and guts, quite literally in one of my fave stories, Dropoff, which is in his collection titled Fleshed Out! But, I'm rambling…..back to the review…. I don't know exactly what I was expecting from this book, I go into 99% of the books that I read blind, but straight off….I was not expecting THAT!! Debbie is seeking a bit of excitement in her boring, middle aged existence, and she finds it in the most strange and grossest of ways. But, the excitement, strangeness and grossness don't stop there, oh no, that's just for starters!! Craving something a little more real than what her current hobby can bring her, she goes out on a mission to find it. When she does eventually find what she is looking for, she's warned that there's a catch. But Debbie doesn't care, the desperation makes her reckless, and she's a determined woman, determined to get whatever she wants, whatever the consequences! And the consequences in this case are beyond her wildest dreams and nightmares…. Stomach churning, bizarre body horror that'll have you laughing, squirming and quite possibly hurling in equal measures! Payback is a putrescent bitch!!

Hayden just needs to piss. Like, seriously. His penis is too big for a water bottle so luckily, he sees an upcoming exit to relieve himself. But when weird things start happening, blood isn’t the only thing on the menu in the middle of nowhere. Briefcases of secrets, shady chef’s, and still a need to pee, Hayden finds more than a bathroom. Smart, quick, and perfectly Ericmore. A HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 5/5.
