Rayne Havok has a way of reaching into your chest and tugging on your heartstrings. Then pulling your heart out, and breaking said heartstrings. Eating your heart. Possibly other things, too. And making you enjoy it. Possibly asking for more. FisFF is a fantastic short, horrendous and macabre, and sick and twisted. Five stars. More please.

I am not specifically sure how I feel about this one. Now, that doesn't mean that the creativity of the story here was lacking, especially when it is packed into a quick bite. The first part was a couple taking a wrong turn and they end up being tortured by some really sick individuals. Coming from the mind of Rayne, it really was horrifying! The second part, Rayne gave us a sweeter ending. I guess if you look at it as fate having different paths, then it makes sense. It all depends on the choices that are made. In all honesty, I didn't like this one as much as Rayne's other stories, and that is completely fine. I will definitely still be reading her other books, for sure.
