Splatterville by Joseph M. Monks

The history of Far Hollow is a dark one. From the cholera epidemic that left farmers and their families'  bodies undiscovered for months during one winter to the bloody mass murder in '83 to decades of disappearances attributed to a ghostly spirit haunting the woods on the outskirts of town, locals don't even tell folks they live here. They're used to its more colorful nickname...Splatterville.

Nearby towns haven't escaped the shadow that stretches from the West, either. In Berwick, you'll encounter a creepy customer who wants a very specific cut of meat from the deli in "Half a Pound, Give or Take." A young teen is bullied by the jocks to the point of breaking in the YA tale (yep, there's one in here) "Outcast." And, a severely  deformed high school girl with a crush gets her wish in the only way she can when the limits of survival are tested in "Mauror Less."
