Following the death of her mother, Alison’s family life is in turmoil. Her father, Henk, numbs his trauma with alcohol while her brother, Tommy, detaches himself from reality by retreating into the world of video games.

After a horrific experience at the hands of some mean girls at school, Alison makes a decision that will have tragic consequences for all involved. Her desire for revenge will transcend death itself and leave a trail of destruction and broken lives in its wake.

Absolutely Awesome!!

I devoured this novella in one sitting, totally absorbed in this heartbreaking and tragic story. Completely different from the usual craziness and mayhem, we are so used to reading from Simon and Sean, but nonetheless equally as good. Eighteen year old Alison, has been wheelchair bound since the accident which killed her mother. Bullied every day and with a father deep in alcohol and depression, and a brother who takes her for granted, Alison leads a miserable life. After one especially traumatic day, things change... This is a short but sad little story, which tugs at the heartstrings. Showing that the McHardy/Hawker dream team, can also be serious, just proves that these guys are genius at what they do. Highly recommended and no less than... 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Available now via godless.com

Top notch

18-year-old Alison is wheelchair-bound after a tragic accident that killed her mother and left her family devastated. Her father a shell of who he once was and a brother full of anger. When a video is posted on the internet of Alison being taunted and humiliated by a group of girls at her school things spiral out of control. A gut punch of a story. Heartbreaking, tragic, and violent. Once again McHardy/Hawker is a tale that you won’t forget. Do not miss this one. Highly recommend. 5 severed fingers out of 5 (Redid review for some reason my name got garbled lol)

Well deserved punishment!

We The Broken, by Simon Mchardy and Sean Hawker is a good horrifying and heartbreaking Horror story. This book is about Alison, a teenager struck by fate. After a devastating tragic car accident, she finds herself in a wheelchair. she is then confronted with cruelty. The people who were supposed to help her, ignored her, abused her and humiliated her. Alison is a fighter, so she fights back against the monsters who she lives among. Several times, I felt like crying when I read about what had been done to her. I'm sometimes naive, and I don't understand people's need to hurt the injured. I’m outraged by these cowards. So, I was so happy when they started begging for their lives, and Alison gave them no mercy. It's different from what Simon Mchardy and Sean Hawker usually write. I didn't laugh, there's nothing to laugh about in this story, in my opinion. This is Alison’s bloody revenge story. I highly recommend this tragic and very violent horror story.
