The story of Corri is based on reality, which makes it more entertaining in a way that’s so wrong it’s funny. On one side, Corri’s troublesome uterus is being a cunt, causing pain and misery. On the other, her loving partner John can’t stop fucking snoring. Corri can’t sleep, she can’t ease the pain, and she can’t get past the gatekeeper receptionist bitch at the surgery! What can a girl do, but take matters into her own hands! Wishing for Silence is a short read, but it delivers a story with punch. Well worth a read!

Fun Story

Loved the premise. I really enjoyed this story. Totally took off a direction I didn't expect. Pretty gory and gruesome too. Loved it. Be sure to put her on top of your reading list

So. Damn. Tired.

Listen, I get it. I have done things I am not proud of because I was exhausted. Poor Corrina just wants sleep and frankly it's not unjustified to do whatever it takes. Lindsey's writing is excellent as usual and this story is a grabber. Dig in. And hopefully Corrina can get in her ZZZZ's.

I mean... if you're tired, you're tired. Another brilliant horror read from Lindsay Crook! The shit that rattles around in her brain is a little scary and delightful all at the same time!

An effective remedy to snoring…

Poor Corrina. All she wants is a decent night’s sleep. Suffice to say, John gets what’s coming to him. Personally, I’ve learned from this tale of woe that one should not upset a woman in need of an hysterectomy.
