I thought I had read it all but this was definitely the darkest of the dark. Derk has some seriously gruesome fetishes. Outstandingly wrote and would love more.
United StatesThis is the LC's second story I've read, and am sad that it's over already! Yes, it could have been stretched out and puffed up e.g. Boxing Wren, but who needs that? This short has enough of everything to satisfy - (anticipation, violence, simulated sex, revenge, and maggots) - and leaves you searching for the next title with this author's name attached! I loved it!

Perfect writing and characters lead me to believe this is one writer we should all be keeping our eyes on. 5/5 fork eyes
I did not need to read the description for this one. I was drawn to the severed limbs, and Lindsay Crook did not disappoint. I'll tell you one thing. I would not want to live inside this girl's imagination. Her people are sick and twisted, and they play for keeps.
