50 shades of horror

So, I started this review by making notes on each story, but, there are so many, so Im just going to concentrate on my favourites and give an overall review! Six Days Of Violence consists of 50 pieces of flash fiction, covering many horror variations, each one having its own illustration alongside it! The illustrations themselves are haunting and horrifying, and then we get to the stories...... My favourite illustrations were for, 'An Hour Lost', 'The Safest Way To Travel', 'A Friend For Ellie', and 'Elemental'. My favourite stories were, 'The Sun Ritual', 'Who?', 'Six Days Of Violence', 'Elemental', 'Fresh Produce', 'A Method To The Madness' and 'The Pancake People' This was a real mix of genres, longer stories, short stories, and very short stories, with some of them interconnecting too. Words I wrote down to describe them are, chilling, shocking, sad, freaky, satisfying, brutal, ritualistic, cannibalistic, dark, eerie, peaceful, necrophilia, tense, apocalyptic, possession, inventive kill techniques, sinister and frightening! All in all, a great read, with something for everyone! Even if you only want to look at the pictures!
