Penis Spiders is a bittersweet tale of lust and burglary, both gone horribly wrong.
Penis Spiders are nasty, disturbing little beasties. Think Arachnophobia meets Phallophobia, meets Bizarro, in a 1980s style NSFW Horror flick, and you might have some idea of what Hank Wester has in store for you, the reader. And with a title like Penis Spiders, how could you not? Penis Spiders was my first title by this author, and it certainly won't be the last!
Twisted!!!
Wow!!! This was quite the experience! In two words, explosive moistness! Honestly, I was thinking this was going somewhere else, probably just as painful, but definitely not this way. This was very creative, gruesome, twisted, and entertaining!
If you love spiders and penises…
Pieter, Dewald, and Elsje want to check out a house in a very empty neighborhood. OK, they want to rob a house in the COSMIC ANOMALY universe (check out that book too). But when things get spicy, the anomalies make it even spicier. Brutal, creature feature, and bloody as hell, Wester has short story win on his hands. A HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5/5.
Phallic Arachnids!
In The Cosmic Anomaly, Wester introduces a world where bizarre anomalies randomly happen to people, with no rhyme, reason or warning. This novella builds upon that story and follows a trio of friends who intend to burglarize a house. One reluctant friend worries about the potential dangers—not just getting caught, but also encountering freakish anomalies. Finally, he relents stating, “What’s the worst that could happen?” They’re about to find out.... I am always impressed by Wester’s brilliant storytelling and incredible imagination. Here, his anomalies have taken the form of genitalia and they seem to have quite the libido to boot. Though this story is a quick one, it’s engrossing and perfectly paced. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn’t want it to end! I hope to see more Cosmic Anomaly tales in the near future.
