“The Dark Cunt” is an excellent beginning to what could be a beautifully brutal anti-hero saga. You will not feel like a good person after reading it. Embrace it. I found the gore and emotional impact of the carnage was executed beautifully. Sepsis, you’ve gained yet another reader. Keep it up!

You think you know superhero origin stories? This’ll make you think again! A delightful little slice of gore, this is also a thoughtful (and pretty satirical) poke at some very famous stories. It’s another level down from movie-dark - filthy and gross, but still clever. I want to see what happens next! Can we have The Next Chapter? I also appreciated that this was guy-on-guy torture. So many books go the cheap ‘Hostel’ route; no women or animals were harmed here, but that didn’t make the ‘villain’ any less of a bastard!

Having worked in comics for years and interacting with the heavyweights of the superhero genre, I would be willing to bet a gumpy wad of horse-bukkake spooge that even those who stood in line weeping over the opp to catch a glimpse of Michael Keaton as Batman again (despite his walker) would upchuck their stomach lining after just the teaser Drew shared with me. Readers should buy this, print it out, and hand it out to trick-or-treaters at Halloween in between inserting X-acto blades into apples.
