J Snow pens psychological thrillers and tales of terror, sometimes poetry. Readers have described her work as disturbing, visceral, haunting, evocative; she has described herself as a realist, a riddle, a bubble of chaos, a neurotic disaster, a survivor.

Pulling inspiration from a warped and wild childhood, her writings offer a peek inside the splintered psyche as she breathes life into harrowing yet multifaceted characters which have both horrified and fascinated those of conventional morality for generations.
