Some people deserve what’s coming to them…

Tank is a scumbag. Drugs, booze, hard-core punk rock, and white supremacist hate, that’s what his life is about. Yet everything is going great for him. His band-the Zyklon Boys-are getting recognition and he’s the star of a despicable subculture. Even the infamous Darcy Cutter thinks highly enough of Tank to include him in an upcoming clandestine celebration. But when a break-in goes wrong, Tank commits a violent hate crime, proving how dark his true colors really are and sending the Zyklon Boys into disarray.

Hardcore Comeuppance

Tank is one of the most vile, hate filled characters o have ever read. Being in his head is a tough read, and I love that. You get to watch as he is quite literally consumed by the disgusting things he’s done. Highly, highly recommend.

This is how it’s done!

This book blew me away. At only 81 pages, it packs one hell of a punch. It doesn’t take long at all to realize that Tank is a complete waste. He is full of hate, loves violence and seems to be waiting for his chance to lash out at anyone he can belittle or harm. He loves the feeling of power and uses that to psych himself up and flex on others within his crew. He definitely takes his role and his red laces seriously. This character is the worst and Skinner’s vivid writing brings him and this whole book to life. It’s almost as if you are tagging along with these lowlifes. A couple of things in the book made me think maybe Tank had a soft side in there somewhere but was proved wrong. He only gets worse. The blurb mentions “Some people deserve what’s coming to them…” remember this because I did not see this ending coming. THIS is seriously one of the best and most powerful endings ever. This is how it’s done. The last sentence is going to stick with me.
