For months, activity on Plantation Earth has been irregular, the results, unexpected. The Union had been receiving strange transmissions, until finally they lost contact altogether. Lay Watt is a member of the second team. She's an outsider, being added to the mission along the way to Earth. Lay follows the crew as they traverse humanity's ruins, eventually coming to trail after an undefinable signal. As they explore, a figure from the periphery of their dreams stalks the edges of their reality, threatening to destroy all they know to be true.
