When a meteorite crashes into the woods outside Hollow’s Edge, no one in Black Veil County expects what follows. The spiders come, strange, pale things that nest in the flesh, hatch behind eyelids, and move in silence. 

People start to vanish. Others change. 

And the infamous red fog rolls in thicker every night.

At the heart of it all walks Ma Barnett, barefoot and smiling. 

As Hollow’s Edge falls quiet,  one truth becomes clear: They are hungry.
