Lusty!
Well, what can i say?! Not a lot actually, as Im still out of breath…. This is a short collection of steamy, dark and horrific poems of the undead, it has bite, an oh so sexy bite! As always with The Professor, the writing is stunning, dark, delicious, powerful and erotic! He takes you to the darkest of places but in the most beautiful way. And you kind of don't ever want to leave! The images his words provoke are visceral and vivid, and leave you with goosebumps upon your skin! My faves in this collection were 'That Stake' & 'Fuck Me' Anything from The Professor is an absolute must read!! What are you waiting for?

Always a good read
Follow and Enter
"When we were alone and had heard the last of the footsteps die out up the road, we silently, and as if by ordered intention, followed the Professor to the tomb. He unlocked the door, and we entered..."~Dracula The quote above is how I feel every time I open a new creation by The Professor. We follow him, knowing that what we will encounter is beauty in words. He opens the door for us and we enter without hesitation. We know we are going to enter darkness, desires, blood and gore, passion and eroticism. It provokes our minds into places we dare not go and yet, we enter, putting our trust into The Professors hands. We know that we are safe there and are given a divine storytelling that has us reeling in disgust and pleasure that coincide. "Ancient tombs of timeless desire."
Suns out, Fangs out.
Released in time with Dracula’s 125th anniversary! White gives us 8 “bite” sized poems with more than meets the eye … or fangs. (There will be puns in this, buckle up.) With this collection, he deviates from his normal portrayal of women as fodder for the slaughter (which I personally enjoy reading because sometimes women are annoying, myself included). LUSTS OF THE UNDEAD gives us women in control, strong with their desires, acting as though they are nobility, leaders of the damned. This one is something special. My two favorites are GATHER ME and NO BOUNDS. GATHER ME has the most fascinating mothering imagery (and it’s based on Munch’s painting Love aand Pain — look into after reading the poem). Like Mchardy and Hawker, White is a favorite and I will shout it from the rooftops until he chucks a book at me. His ability to conjure such vivid imagery in such short poems are nothing short of perfection. Love it. Buy it. Read it. Or…. Sink your teeth in it. HA.
Death has never been so sexy
Fuck me until the light arrests you. Then expire for me. Into me. Over me. Cover me with your ash.
