A hallucination plagued detective teams up with a criminal profiler in the wild underground of heavy metal to hunt a serial killer carving lyrics into the flesh of his victims.

The sweet aroma of honeysuckle spattering the bushes was drowning in a stale smell of decay.
Detective Mahoney’s gaze was drawn in an instant to the thin lips lined in rouge, dramatically posed as if the victim had been enunciating a critical word when her last breath of life was taken.
“Looks like our city just got a ramp up in killer calibre.”

The year is 1987. Hair is big. Rock ’n’ roll is hard.

When a body with a glam-rock makeover is discovered, a detective haunted by a dark past must embrace new investigative techniques.

"Se7en meets Guns n Roses meets Red Dragon meets Motley Crue" - Author of Hunting Abigail

Nice Crossover Of Genres

This was unusual. It combined the police procedural genre with some really good gore. Once I got to half way through I could not put this down until I finished. The author did a good job of keeping it in the 80s when it came to technology and forensics and I am excited to start the next instalment.
