Web of Depravity.
Excellent story about a fan named Crissi that goes to a horror convention to meet her favorite author. He isn't what he seems. This is fast paced and brutal. Great writing, and will make you squirm.
Twisted Web
Ayralea brings her A game with this intense and disturbing tale. Cautionary in all aspects and also, sharing the moral that sometimes you must never meet your hero. Luckily not all Extreme horror/ horror writers are secretly monsters who abuse their fans. This is certainly a story that has the possibility of being based on some horribly true experience. Warning that the face some people show, may not be the real one if a monster lies dormant beneath the surface. Which seems to be the case of the charismatic Mark Stoll, who happens to be Crissi’s favourite horror writer. Sometimes the signs are clear and you know not to go back to a hotel room with a stranger. But starstruck Crissi has only seen one side of Mark, her over-trusting nature and belief in the good in others. This leads her unwittingly into a very dark and twisted trap, spiralling into a horrible experience. One that will make readers very uncomfortable and the pre-warning at the beginning is more than appropriate for the events that unfold.
Another Winner From Lander!
I had a blast with this one. THE SPIDER'S WEB is fast, disturbing, and intense. I'm looking forward to more by Lander, and also more about Crissi Parker. Highly recommended!
