Poetic

Surprisingly given the title we start with some beautiful poetry but it doesn’t last long. We once again dive into our writer’s favourite pit of depravity. I think it seemed more revolting this time after the pretty prose at the beginning. There is a lot more storytelling this time rather than just the gross bits and I think if the writer wanted to go in that direction more in the future he certainly has a talent for it. Not that I didn’t enjoy the alien cock tentacles, the cannibal sacrifices and the usual family loving. These stories were more fleshed out and I really enjoyed that aspect but it definitely still felt “Reeky”.
