Rath by Connor McQueen
In the 1970s the town of River Falls was plagued by a vicious serial killer, James Rath. Even after many years, some are still haunted by his memory. There are people who think he is still alive, even with no evidence to point to that conclusion. Others say his ghost roams the streets, hunting for his next victim.
Four friends, all traversing their tumultuous early twenties, plan to stay the night outside of James Rath's abandoned, run-down house. One of them has a plan to get rid of Rath's presence once and for all, but there are others who have some different ideas.
When unexpected guests show up to their camp-out, the group's night takes a dark turn. It's time for them to find out if the rumors of Rath are true, or just musings from a town picking at decades-old scars.
