One Hell of a Serial Killer
If you want your serial killer fiction to be more inventive and a little bit derranged then look no further than The Unicorn Killer. I initally gave this one a three star review on Goodreads, but have decided to upgrade it here to four stars. The reason is down to the fact that I wanted this book to be a little bit longer, and now I.thought it was only fair to round it up to rather than down I will certainly be reading more fiction from Candace in the future, and look forward to seeing where she will take us on this journey.
Fabulously bloody!
A fun, fabulous tale of mayhem. The title says it all, and it delivers fantastically. When homicide becomes boring, what is the cure? Throw a little glitter on it honey! Naturally. Go read this, now. I want to quote a passage from this just to help showcase Candace's writing ability: "The tired that evil brings with it and weighs you down until you can only feel the weariness. The aching weight of the knowledge of all the evil that exists in the world, and you are powerless against it. This was that kind of evil."
Slasher with humor
Is that a horn on your head or are you really happy to see me? Lots of chuckles and gore.
Glitter & Gore Has Never Been So Enjoyable
Horror Bookworm Reviews The Unicorn Killer by Candace Nola https://horrorbookwormreviews.com/ Frank has a penchant for Fanta, show tunes and pizza delivered to his front door. Frank is also a serial killer. However when he just doesn’t feel the thrill anymore, a morbid idea for a new psychological thrill becomes his ultimate killer conception. Frank is determined to go down as the greatest serial murderer of all time. Candace Nola paints her Godless story, The Unicorn Killer, with bright colors of pink and purple surrounding visionary images of dismemberment, flayed bodies and acid used for all the wrong reasons. Dahmer, Gacy, Bundy and Gein all had their familiar MO’s and signature kills. Candace Nola has created her own primal predator derived from a colorful horned costume. The rainbow brite brutality that exists between the pages of this gruesome story is creepy enough to make one’s foreskin grow back into place…just sayin. Even though the main character is a repulsive human being, I gotta admit his habits and characteristics made me chuckle on more than one occasion. Who would have thunk that such unfolding chaotic violence could be a colorful bouquet of sparkly entertainment. Glitter and gore has never been so enjoyable. Who put Candace Nola in my Godless?! These are two great tastes that taste great together. So dance, prance and twirl your way to Godless and grab your copy of The Unicorn Killer. A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
