Wasn't sure what I was expecting but it was so much more than I could have hoped for. Perfectly bizarro from the master of extreme horror with no extreme gore. This bite sized morsel will leave you laughing and shaking your head. I absolutely loved how Lee was able to write Becky and Miles with each other's traits.

I know, from watching interviews, that Ed Lee is actually fucking hilarious, but I was NOT expecting this. This is, hands down, the funniest piece of bizarro Iβve read in years. The only way I could hope to explain it is if you imagined Brian Yuzna bumping into Murray Salem on the sidewalk, and David Lynch just so happening to pick up, and recompile their respective screenplays, resulting in a bizarre Society-meets-Kindergarten-Cop-by-way-of-Mulholland-Dr social satire. I loved it.

Miles and Becky are prepping for their sonβs birthday party. Everything is off to a great start until the bounce house gets delivered. The couple decide to test it out and soon after, they discover something strange. This was definitely a WTF did I just read book. This story is so wild and insane! I couldnβt help but laugh at several of the scenes. Lee definitely made this unique and delivered quite the ending. If you like your books over the top, be sure to grab this one. I still find myself laughing over it. It certainly will not be for everyone, but I found it fun and enjoyable.

The Bounce House is a fun, screwed up tale from the maniacal mind of Edward Lee. This is a pocketbook that I read within an hour that had me laughing and in disbelief all at the same time! Miles and Becky have a birthday party to put on for their son. Miles, being the machismo man he is wants only the best of things in his life, including the biggest and baddest bounce house for his sonβs party.
