Teeth by Ayralea Lander
Sabbaths. Summoning. Potions. Witches.
Folklore, humour and horror blend together in this unconventional tale.
Meet Tessa Harlow, she’s a witch, but she’s anything but typical. She just wants to be left alone to make her potions, often by nefarious deeds, but that’s not about to happen. She crosses someone who takes matters into their own hands.
Meet Glib’reekeshi, or Glib, as he’s known as. He’s a demon with an unsavoury habit when summoned from the underworld. Tessa needs his help, though. Will this surprising duo, aided by some others, be able to discover who wants Tessa dead before it’s too late?
As Tessa discovers who is behind the attacks on her being, a deadly showdown ensues. Will she overcome the odds, or be damned to hell herself?
Glib needs a sequel!
This was a fun book. I suspect it would make for a really delightful fantasy story for children were it not for the satanic gangbang, lusty nostril-fucking demon, child killing or violent shoot-out involving assault rifles. So, as it is, it’s a rollicking good time for splatter fans who like a little magic with their mayhem. Highly recommended.
Short, sexy, witchy, demonic fairy tale. I dug it!
My second read from Lander, and this one is a blast. TEETH reads as if Poppy Z. Brite and Robert Devereaux teamed up for an infernal, nightmarish fairy tale. You're gonna have a lot of fun with this one. Highly recommended!
