This short story packs a surprising punch! It draws you in, enthralls you, shocks you, delights you, then fucks you up! It's full of dark humour and intrigue and has a really creepy cool fantasy feel to the whole thing. The free flowing narrative paints a beautifully atmospheric image, until the gross parts! Matthew needs urgent medical aid after a robbery with his partner, Benny, goes horribly wrong. But, thats looking like it's not going to happen. Instead, he finds himself in a shed in the woods after being treated and looked after by a strange and unknown woman. And then he's quickly back on the run! But with only four days to hide out and wait for a new identity, there's only one logical, and safe, place he can go. Back to the shed, and his saviour. Beautiful, mesmerising, mysterious Naida, who he quickly grows rather close to during his time hiding out…. he has such a good time he feels he could almost live out his last days there with her…. Love hurts….
