Lady of the Lake by Jesse D'Angelo
Zevon Lang has always been a misfit
and an outcast, but he’s just met the love
of his life.
Lila is beautiful, fun, intelligent and sensual…
She also lives at the bottom of a lake
and hungers for human flesh and blood.
But is she even real, or just a
figment of his twisted mind?
His loyalty will be tested as a stunning
young veterinarian, Claire Carpenter,
moves to his small town.
Her purity and goodness is the antidote for
the moral conflict raging inside of him.
But it might be too late to wash
the blood from his hands
and redeem his tormented soul.
Well told story with layed characters. Will keep you guessing but I won't spoil it for you. I recommend you read it.
Beware Lila! This story kept me guessing till the end of whether or not the main character was really going to be able to overcome the pull of Lila! Interesting character development, tragic story, and when it got into the meat of the climax I couldn't stop reading! I had to know the outcome! This book doesn't disappoint!
