Thom has a fear of the unknown. The thought of it sends him into anxiety attacks and covers him in hives.
Creepy old Mr. Willard has always lived next door to Thom, and creepy old Mr. Willard in his creepy old house, are the antithesis of the unknown. Thom has always avoided the old man and his house.
But one warm night Mr. Willard asks Thom to come over and shows him the monstrous horrors that hide in the dark unknown he fears so much. Now he must find a way to escape the old man's nightmare house or face an inconceivable truth.
