Every year, the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, Pittsburgh’s most devoted drunks embark on a bar crawl to warm up their drinking muscles for parade day. It’s up to Jane Lushbutcher and her weaponized legs to get these drunks off the street while tracking down the leader of this debauchery through the most violent means necessary.

Are you sick of pussy superheroes who have too much backstory and not enough killer instinct? Do you wish comic books would just jump from one brutal kill scene to another more brutal kill scene? Do you think like a nine-year-old who just watched I Spit on Your Grave for the first time?

The Godless League is for you!

Short on story. Long on hyper-violent, mostly misguided, vigilante justice is what Stabberger, Lushbutcher, and Slaughterdozer are all about!

Leave the genuine world-building and plausible origin stories to the mainstream… all we care about is bloodlust and carnage! Fuck them, anyway. They’ve taken enough of your money and given you nothing but disappointment. When was the last time a Marvel hero cut off a Nazi’s cock? Steve Rogers doesn’t got the guts. What kind of hero is that?

Godless League is a new monthly, psychotic, bizarro, short series from the juvenilely sadistic minds of John Baltistberger, Lucy Leitner, and Drew Stepek.

Launching on July 1st!

Another solid instalment in the Godless League saga. Lushbutcher is taking a stand for the little guy and handing out justice to those that deserve it most!

The Bar Crawl Stops Here

Some may think they should be offended by the gratuitous violence of Lushbutcher’s vigilante murder spree, but the true offense here is the very existence of St. Practice Day. With her classic blend of gore, humor, and random pop culture references, Lucy’s Lushbutcher is fast-paced, funny, and bizarrely original. I could see Jane Lushbutcher taking a trip to New York and cleaning up the infamous Santa Con.

Not So Lucky Irish

Jane Lushbutcher hits the streets with a vengeance in her second outing for of The Godless League, St. Practice Day. The least stable of the bunch, Lushbutcher is always sure to provide an entertaining and gratuitously violent experience for readers. It's Saint Paddy's Day in September, or it will be next weekend, and in preparation for the festivities, Pittsburgh drunks are pub crawling for St. Practice Day. Everything is all fun and games for the green-clad alcoholics until Jane's outing with her elderly friends is interrupted by God's warning that there is danger afoot. Lucy Leitner kicks it up a notch from the previous installment, leaving a trail of bodies (or parts of bodies) in the wake as Lushbutcher seeks out the mastermind behind the pub crawl. By the time she's done, there'll be so much red and green on the ground that it'll look like Christmas in September instead.

A Kick Right to the Taint

Lucy Leitner brings so much awesome shit to this issue of Godless League I may have gone blind. It was so incredible it put hair on my chest and I no longer need to drink to feel like a man! Thank god too, Luchbutcher would murder the fuck out of me if she caught me getting a drink. Jokes aside, Lucy wrote an amazing bizarro splatter story here, with absolute balls to the wall action and the 4-color feel of a comic book the way we've come to expect her to. Lucy's writing is always great, but in my humble opinion, Lushbutcher is the most fun!
