Dog Days: The Hunt by Nikolas P. Robinson
In the snow-covered higher elevations of Montana's Rocky Mountains, Lee is on the hunt for a black bear, armed with only his bow.
When a couple of poachers kill the wrong prey, Lee takes the law into his own hands and the snow will be pink with blood before he's through.

Utterly fantastic!
This story was amazing! I have thoroughly enjoyed everything that I have read from Robinson thus far. His mastery over his prose, and his ability to craft a story that sucks you in and keeps you turning the pages is unflinching. The previous story in this series- Dog's Days was utterly fantastic and truly guttural, The Hunt shows us another side Lee Melvin and it made me love the character even more. If I had one complaint, it is that I wanted to stay with the character longer. These short one-offs that Robinson releases feel like teases leading up to a full-length novel. When that book releases, it will be one to watch for. Robinson has a quiet, brooding sense to his storytelling that has been honed well.
Great read
The follow up book to THE HUNT packs a big punch. Fantastic read!
