An excellent fungal thriller. A city of mushrooms, a mysterious plague, a missing woman… it’s up to private eye Kolibrik to connect the dots. The author’s world building is incredible, and the prose flows and interweaves like mycelium itself. The tale is gritty, earthy, and quite dark at times; full of the wondrous descriptions of Madripol and its people, and the dark secrets buried within.
