A bunch of goodboys from a backwater hole are ringed around a campfire, discussing how to catch themselves some Bigfoots. From bulging fish bellies, to a murderous Bigfoot on a rampage, exacting revenge on those who dare to interfere with his lascivious nature. BBR is a fucked up, awesome, short read that is recommended if you're need of something distant from traditional bigfoot slaughter fun. Definitely looking forward to more Hawker in my life.

I’m pretty sure this is based on fact! It’s mating and hunting season, with no ducks or rabbits . Just giant hair balls, hunters and violated fish. End the end, be prepared to reap what you sow. Woooooommaaaannnn!

Well, this certainly does what it says on the tin! No false advertising here! Hawkman gives no fucks with his extreme horror - not a single one! And thats why I love him! This is absolutely no exception - in fact, this is probably his most shocking and depraved yet!! A quick tale of a horny bigfoot and his harem, and a case of the hunters becoming the hunted - and then some! Absolutely savage, darkly funny, sick, twisted, gnarly and highly entertaining, (even if you dont want to admit it!) And a brilliant ending that did make me snigger! Sean always brings the top notch depravity you can rely on! 5/5

Hawker has the sort of no-holds-barred brutality of Edward Lee. When reading his stuff, remember no one and nothing is safe or sacred. I think that’s my favorite thing about his very well-written stories, they grip you like a hillbilly grips the trout he’s about to have sex with. They make you squirm, feel uneasy, and question reality. This cryptid-inspired splatter fest is mixed in with heavy helpings of humor and some very tense scenes. It’s one of my favorites from Hawker!!
