Love Potion #666 by Nathan D. Ludwig
IF HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED, THEN TWO WOMEN SCORNED MEANS WE'RE ALL FUCKED!
The hatred and jealousy that has festered for years between a mother and her daughter will kill every man they've ever loved. And raise them back from the dead!
Leanna Forsythe is a sociopathic sexpot fresh out of prison and ready to dish out some bloody payback. Her ex-lover and her mother plotted to send her to the big house so they could be together. Now, with Mom away in Haiti on some mumbo jumbo vision quest, Leanna and her meathead boyfriend Mikey seize the perfect opportunity to get back at mommy dearest...
...Teena Forsythe returns home to Corpus Christi after becoming a full mambo voodoo priestess; a lifetime in the making for her. The afterglow is short-lived when she finds her live-in lover savagely murdered and her experimental sex dust stolen out from under her nose. She knows Leanna plans to sell it to the highest bidder for a ton of cash, so she devises a nightmarish plan of her own to chase the dust-addicted lovers to the bloody, bitter ends of the earth.
Mickey and Mallory would approve.
Teena is into some dark shit. Leanna is looking to score some money from Teena’s voodoo trunk of tricks. Richards wants in on the cash, Mikey just wants to go home, Killford gets more than she bargained for and Zeb is house watching. When all of these worlds collide in a FROM DUSK TIL DAWN meets THE WALKING DEAD meets NATURAL BORN KILLERS, no one is safe and there will be hell to pay. Holy flying ass monkey farts. People, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved this one. I thought it was going to go one way then you throw in some zombie shit on me and I’m like, this is the ride I needed and didn’t know was available. WHY AM I JUST NOW HEARING ABOUT THIS AUTHOR?! (This is his debut novella, I just read.) This is an author to be on the lookout for. Nothing and I MEAN NOTHING is a con in the book. I will be rereading this one very soon. It has everything you want; love, sex, deception, more sex, double crossing, heartbreak, SEX. D&T Publishing LLC hit it out of the park… yet again.
Love Potion #666
Leanna is released from prison and is hell bent on getting some revenge on her mom. Their relationship has been strained for some time and Leanna now has the opportunity to get even. Her plan to cash in on the contents of her mom’s purple pouches might just work out. Or just the opposite… This story is triple dipped in crazy from beginning to end! The drama between Leanna and Teena is something else. Watching all of this unfold was like a train wreck. You just had to keep reading to see what was coming next. Never a dull moment that is for sure. Ludwig did an excellent job with Leanna. She is hard core, rude and doesn’t mess around. A bad ass character. She was totally captivating to me and for sure will remain a favorite character of mine. This was a fast paced read that I really enjoyed. Very gripping and lots of action! I NEEDED to know how this was would end. The twists towards the end amped up the story and had me racing even faster through the pages. Brilliant work by Ludwig! I see this one in my top reads for this year. Just wow!
The Most Insane Drug Fueled Sleaze Fest Money Can Offer
This is one heck of a wild ride from start to finish. The amount of mayhem, chaos, and hilarity in this book is unreal. There’s one liners galore, shootouts, zombies, sex crazed old ladies, and a love potion that will drive your lust through the roof. I’m getting ahead of myself though, let me tell you a bit about this book. Love Potion #666 follows Leanna and Teena Forsythe, a daughter and her mother who have more than bad blood between them. After Leanna is released from prison, she meets up with her boyfriend Mikey and takes him on a road trip to end all road trips in order to make it big and get back at her mother. No one is safe, anyone that gets in Leanna’s way finds themself taking a dirt nap sooner than they would have liked. I. Loved. This. Book. There’s never even a dull sentence! Every single word out me in a headlock and forced me to read on, I needed to see how this family drama ended. Nothing goes the way you could have imagined, and nothing was off limits. The book is split into sections and I feel like each section was crazier than the last. I was on the end of my seat until the climatic ending. This is a work of art in its own right. The amount of fun I had reading this book was like having a free week at Disneyland and getting to cut the line for every ride, PLUS getting whatever you wanted at all the restaurants and gift shops for free. It’s just that good!
