If they survive, they will be rewarded with a place in the wonderful city of Tomorrow, and their families will be safe from need, but the fewer the survivors, the greater the reward.

Tam wants to protect Alfie, their boyfriend, at all costs.

Akira wants a better life for her family.

Oliver wants to make the world a fairer place.

Lisa wants to be free to choose her destiny.

Jacob just wants to survive.

Their lives are now linked, whether they like it or not. Will they help each other, isolate themselves, or kill each other? What will motivate their choices?

Intense Horror!!

This is my second book by Aiden and I can say I'm hooked!! I'm not a massive fan of splatterpunk, Splatterpunk is a movement within horror fiction originating in the 1980s, distinguished by its graphic, often gory, depiction of violence, countercultural alignment and "hyper intensive horror with no limits." The term was coined in 1986 by David J. so you can expect trigger warnings ( gore, mutilations, cannibalism and the use of body parts for... you get the geist!!.) Aiden's writing is so engaging, especially with the character development, which is so real. "Days of Dream" has a 'dystopian totalitarian world hunger games' vibe to it, but on an extreme level. There were scenes in which my heart was racing at 200km/h, it was that intense, I just wanted the character to die and not suffer for so long, the torture was so unbearable!!. 'He watched in horror as his partner pushed the spoon under the young man's eye, making git pop out of its socket with a nauseating plop. She repeated the operation on the other eye and then dangled the two eyeballs under her ears, holding them by the optic nerve. "They would make nice earrings, don't you think? "' Loved it!! Many thanks to Aiden for an eARC to review.

Extreme Hunger Games!

This is a great survival story, hunger games meets the running man. Every five years Nile Corp holds a Days of Dreams event. Twenty young adults are selected to participate to be rewarded with a better future. But in order to obtain the reward they need to survive, the fewer survivors, the greater the reward. What would you do? Would you try quietly to survive? Or would you go and take out the competition? Who is in to survive? And who is in to kill? Who do you trust? Friendships formed, enemies made, lives lost!

Queer & Bloody

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book from the author. This is a quick read that combines my favorite genres - horror and LGBTQ. It also has a bit of gory extreme horror elements at times so that is even better in my opinion. The premise reminds me of Hunger Games but this story is much more bloody and queer if that’s what you’re into (which I am).
